Centennial Utilities provides natural gas, water, sewer, garbage and recycling services to Circle Pines customers and provides natural gas services to Lino Lakes and Blaine customers.

Centennial Utilities derived from the “cooperative lifestyle” of the City of Circle Pines forefathers. Centennial Utilities was formed to provide the community with its own utility needs. Centennial Utilities has a Board of five Commissioners who meet monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m.

Water Efficiency Grant

Circle Pines water customers can apply for a rebate to help increase water efficiency in and outside their home. The city recently received a grant from the Metropolitan Council via funding from the State Legislature through the Minnesota Clean Water and Legacy Amendment to offer customers up to a $200 rebate to replace inefficient devices with certified WaterSense toilets or irrigation controllers.

Rebates will show up in the form of a bill credit on utility bills. To apply for a rebate, water customers must purchase either a WaterSense-certified toilet or irrigation controller, provide a copy of original purchase receipt and submit, along with the application, to Centennial Utilities/City Hall. The receipt must clearly identify the model and date of purchase information. For application form and more information on the rebate, click here.
